I don’t know where I found the time to learn and bake bread by hand in medical school but I did!
Now everybody knows me as Dr. T (with the last name of Theocharides, you can see why!).
Born across the ocean in Alexandria, Egypt, we moved to Canada (aye?) before I turned two years old – not my choice of course!
Growing up in Canada with one older (what a pain back then!) brother. With hardworking and dedicated parents, I enjoyed my growing up years, being a book and study nerd … learned French in medical school in Quebec, obtained my specialty training in OBGYN in beautiful Vancouver, BC (just north of Seattle).
After a very cold year in Saskatchewan, Canada, came to settle in the Midwest (Indiana) and grew a successful medical practice in a small town known as Elkhart.
A number of years later met a lovely young lady from NJ, married and brought her to Indiana … but found ourselves back to the Garden State in 2000 …
About that time, I added aesthetics to my OBGYN practice and have expanded as a cosmetic surgeon into health and wellness with a focus on nutrition and lifestyle – beginningsaal.com– and I am currently investing in learning about functional medicine …
